Thelma Development Corporation was established in 1996 in General Santos City, Philippines. It
started in the manufacture of the "Organic Certified Banana Chips" to give the world a taste of our
world-class banana chips. Our banana chips is available in different cuts like the Whole, Halves,
Broken, Quarters, Fines, and as Diced. It also comes in different flavors such as the Honeydipped,
Sweetened, Unsweetened, Salted, and Cinnamon-flavored Banana Chips
In 2000, the company went into the production of the "Organic Certified Coconut Oil" producing
the Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic RBD Coconut Oil, Organic Crude Coconut Oil, and the
Organic Copra Cake and Copra Meal.
In 2003, it diversified and went into the production of the "Organic Certified Desiccated Coconut".
The company manufactures all the different cuts like the Macaroon or Fine, Medium, Fancy Shred,
Flakes, and Chips. It is available as Sweetened or as Unsweetened Desiccated Coconut and also
comes either as Toasted Sweetened or as Toasted Unsweetened Desiccated Coconut.
In 2006, the company again expanded and started producing other coconut products such as the
"Organic Certified" Canned Coconut Milk, Coconut Cream, and Coconut Water". The company will
soon start producing the Frozen Coconut Cream.
With a vision to be the leading Philippine manufacturer and exporter of quality food products, the
company is committed to continuous product improvement to achieve the highest level of quality
from raw material selection, to production, to service and distribution - as part of the company's
approach.
The company presently has over a thousand strong workforce, working as a team and through
continuous enhancement of the company's products and services. All these are supported by
the modern processing methods that it rigidly follows, plus the advantage of a world class standard
manufacturing plant which is HACCP Certified with well-trained employees.
